Task
Task is the central execution history for Total Control scripting. Executions started from other tools, including Runner, can also appear here.
The Task window manages scheduled, running, and completed script executions.
- Scheduled — Displays scripts configured to run at a future time or according to a defined schedule.
- Executing — Displays scripts that are currently running.
- Completed — Shows scripts that have stopped running, whether they finished normally or ended because of an exception or error.
- Add Task — Creates a new script execution configuration.
- Script — Selects the script to execute.
- Devices — Selects the device or devices on which the script will run.
- Iterations — Specifies how many times the script should be executed.
- Schedule / Start Time — Specifies when the script should start.
- Execution Status — Shows the current or final status of the task.
- Execution Time — Shows when the task ran or completed.
- Log — Opens the execution log for reviewing script output, errors, and runtime information.
- Rerun — Runs a completed task again using its existing configuration.
- Delete — Removes the selected task or execution record.
